Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Chocolate Making Workshops: Play an integral role in our workshops, assisting participants as they delve into the enchanting world of chocolate-making, and helping the lead chocolatier to set up for the workshop, and clean between sessions.
- Making Chocolate Bars: Dive deep into the art and science of chocolate-making, preparing delightful treats that tantalise taste buds.
- Packaging Chocolate Bars: Ensure our handcrafted chocolates are beautifully packaged with precision and care, maintaining the highest standard of quality.
- Serving in the Chocolate Shop: Engage with our valued customers, assisting them with their selections and ensuring a delightful shopping experience.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Uphold the pristine condition of our workspace, ensuring a sanitary and organised environment, including the washing and polishing of chocolate moulds.
Job Details:
Location: La Chocolatrice, Coxhoe, DH6 4LD
Contract Duration: 3 months - possible extension
Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week (Weekend availability is essential)
Compensation: up to £11.00 per hour depending on experience
Start date: As soon as possible
Requirements:
- A passion for chocolate and a dedication to quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and workshop attendees.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to team dynamics and fostering a harmonious work environment.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in similar roles is a plus, but not essential.
