Hello, Chocolate Lovers! I'm Zoë, the proud owner of La Chocolatrice, and if there's one thing you should know about me – I'm utterly and unapologetically in love with chocolate. This isn't just a business for me; it's a lifelong affair with the sweetest indulgence that has been a part of my story since childhood.

My chocolate journey started at the tender age of four, with a daily ritual orchestrated by my grandpa. A large bar of chocolate, a whispered secret to hide it, and the simple joy of savouring it when no one was watching. Sharing is caring, but chocolate? That's a solo adventure.

Fast forward to when I was eighteen and found myself in a charming French town, where I worked as an au pair. Surrounded by the enchanting world of French gastronomy, I discovered my passion for cooking, baking, and, inevitably, crafting chocolate. The local Chocolaterie became my haven, sparking a creative flame that led to perfecting the art of chocolate pudding – a hit among the kids I cared for.

Three and a half years in France further fueled my love affair with chocolate. I delved into the intricacies of Patisserie and Chocolate, honing my skills and knowledge. Alongside studying, I conducted chocolate-making workshops in the northeast, spreading the joy of creating delectable chocolate treats.

My journey took an exciting turn in June 2019 when I decided to turn my passion into a reality, and open La Chocolatrice. 

At La Chocoltrice, we make the most delicious range of chocolates, and we teach chocolate making workshops too!  Whether you're a chocolate connoisseur or a novice, our workshops cater to all ages and abilities. From Children's birthday parties to Hen parties and Corporate Team building events, La Chocolatrice offers a range of experiences to suit every taste.
