Our chocolate making workshops take place in our beautiful chocolate making workshop studio in Coxhoe, Co. Durham. It is just across the road from our chocolate factory which you are welcome to visit as well, and there is free parking right outside.
Unfortunately our studio is not currently wheelchair accessible. This is something that we are working on.
We run workshops for up to 16
people.
For bookings of 5 of more people, yes. If you book for less than 5, there may be others in your workshop.
Yes, we cater for ages 8+ in our workshops, or 6+ in our private birthday parties. In our workshops we do request that children are accompanied by an adult.
No just yourself, we have aprons to protect your clothing.
Of course. There are lots of opportunities for tasting during our workshops, and you also take home everything you make.
Once you have booked your workshop, it is not possible to cancel, however we will be able to rearrange with more than 7 days notice. This is not however an option on seasonal workshops, including Advent Calendar Making and Easter Egg Making.
If we have more than 7 days notice we will be able to rearrange your workshop.
Yes, all are suitable for vegetarians except for our Rocky Road.
Our products are vegan friendly. The La Chocolatrice kitchen is small (but perfectly formed!), so please be aware that that in addition to the ingredients listed in our ingredients, our delicious products may possibly contain traces of soya, nut (including peanuts), milk, barley, egg, gluten, sesame and sulphur dioxide.
Yes, we work with Cocoa Horizons to source sustainable cocoa that helps to create thriving communities and prospering farmers. Find out more about Cocoa Horizons: https://www.cocoahorizons.org/
We also care deeply about our planet and it is important to us that the packaging we use is sustainable. We are proud to say that our packaging is biodegradable and compost within 21 days, whilst the paper that our labels are printed onto is recycled and can be recycled.
The best place to keep your chocolate is somewhere cool and dry.
We may be able to offer a discount depending on the size of the order. We are also able to offer a bespoke label service for corporate orders too!
Yes we do. Our chocolate is currently stocked in a number of shops around the North East, and we seeing our beautiful products on their shelves. If you’d be interested in stocking out chocolate, please get in touch.
Yes, we offer a bespoke label service, so are able do large order for weddings, party favours etc.
We offer free postage on orders over £40. Otherwise you will be charged at standard Royal Mail prices.
Yes, you can click and collect and we recommend doing this at busy times.
We don’t currently but this is something we are working on.
We aim to ship your order as quickly as possible. Our posting days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns, due to our product being perishable.
Please allow 5 working days for your order to arrive. It has still not arrived, please email hello@lachoc.co.uk and we will take a look.
If your order arrives damaged please take clear photos and send them to hello@lachoc.co.uk with a brief description of the damage. We’d love to fix it for you.
